1. care
there comes a point when you care so much about things you can't touch, taste or feel, that it just makes me think why even care at all? there is however, i difference between caring and passion, love, hate, etc.
i guess the word "care" is just worn out for me because things like christian groups who CARE SO MUCH about the children that they get songs banned on the radio, and words cut out of television programs. they just CARE SO MUCH that they are willing to destroy someone else's art and reprimand you for not caring. i happen to care about kids having art thrown at them and developing their own fucking filter.

and then there are the people who "don't care," which might be even worse than the out-of-control-care-groups. the people who don't care what they look like and go to the grocery store in sweatpants and flip-flops. i'm sorry but that's the most disgusting thing to me. i prefer someone who looks like a complete "fashion mess" but put time into what they look like, over those who wear a tank top, pony tail, and running shorts, to the mall with their friends. fucking ugly is what that is.
BUT WHAT REALLY TOPS THE LIST are the people who make it fashionable to not care. the pretentious groups of kids who take an hour on they're hair, making it look like they just rolled out of bed. which i guess is okay becuase the have some sort of passion for how they look (OR AT LEAST FITTING IN).
those kids are just funny.

2. styrofoam
i remember once when i was younger i had a styrofoam cup filled with coke. a-cola.
i remember seeing a bunch of kids biting their cups apart and i thought "hmm well if its that easy to tear apart a cup then it shouldn't come apart if it's full!". it seemed impractical to have a cup that was so fun to eat NOT being able to hold liquid when you ate it. i was young. so i bit into it and the coke (a-cola) spilled everywhere and i just remember being completely dumbstruck by the fact that that could even happen. hard to explain.

3. material
i don't really understand the recent (or not so recent) trend that everyone seems to go through thinking that material things don't mean anything. like "money can't buy happiness." maybe it can't, but i think it would make finding happiness a hell of a lot easier. invest in material things, even if you don't like them: the idea is that some idiot will convince themselves it's worth something. but then again it IS worth something if someone else thinks it is and it willing to pay for it. like beanie babies. someone decided they were worth something and now certain ones sell for hundreds of dollars--but other ones that someone decided weren't worth anything are to be given to your toddlers to spill applesauce on.

4. seasons
i wish i knew what they were. always green, all year round.
